Welcome to the National Events Page for Chi Upsilon Sigma!

This website is designed to provide you with the most up-to-date information on our upcoming Annual Awards Banquet and our National Convention. As a sisterhood, Chi Upsilon Sigma celebrate womanhood, individuality, and independence through our annual events. Each event is planned and organized with the intent to move our organization forward as Chi Upsilon Sigma is constantly changing and evolving.

National Convention

Our bi-annual Convention consists of a weekend long event for our membership, fellow Greeks, family and friends. The weekend kicks off with a Sisters Only event dedicated to reinforcing the bonds established as undergraduates. This social gathering is usually hosted by an undergraduate chapter and/or undergraduate Sisters. In the past, this event consisted of fun activities, the exchange of sacred historical stories and traditions including Strolling and Stepping, tons of picture taking, laughs and memorable moments, all shared over food and music.

The Convention also includes a series of social activities and professional development workshops. The workshops serve to enhance the skills of our Sisters and their guests. The workshops cover topics from financial management, purchasing a home, resume writing, women's health, graduate school preparation, interview techniques, and diversity. All workshops are created around our four awarenesses. The social activities are used to introduce members to each other and their guests. All these events are captured by our members and national board via video or photography, for a lifetime of memories. Our Convention culminates with our annual Awards Banquet.

Anniversary Banquet

The Anniversary Banquet is a celebration of the birth of our sisterhood, and an opportunity to reflect and rejoice, our accomplishments throughout the past year. The Board of Directors presents awards at this event to chapters, undergraduates and alumnae, who have gone beyond the call of duty, dedicating themselves to the organization, their community and in their personal pursuit for academic excellence.
