Chi Upsilon Sigma will be hosting our national convention in Washington, D.C. June 14-17, 2012. Every year, a cause is selected as the basis for our national service project. This year, Dove’s Campaign for Real Beauty was selected because it focuses on improving self-esteem for girls through workshops and activities. According to a recent study conducted by Dove, only 4% of women thought they were beautiful. Please help us fight this statistic! We believe that young girls become strong, confident women when they learn real beauty comes from within. Accepting our natural bodies and loving ourselves is the key ingredient to feeling beautiful.

On Friday, June 15, 2012 at the Washington Court Hotel, we will be hosting a fundraiser reception. We invite anyone who feels passionate about this cause to join us! The fundraiser will give you access to our trustees, directors, regional board members, guest speakers, key collegiate administrators, convention attendees and invited legislators and non-profit staff. Attire is smart casual to foster a fun environment.
